This Privacy Policy explains how Chaotic Curiosity LLC, operated by Alireza Bahremand, handles information in connection with ClassroomXR, XR-Spaces, and Classroom, XR applications available for Meta Quest devices, including Quest 3.

Summary: ClassroomXR, XR-Spaces, and Classroom are designed to collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the applications. We do not sell user data.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the applications, we may process the following categories of information:

App usage data: Basic technical information such as app version, session events, performance logs, crash reports, and diagnostic data.
Device-related data: Information needed for XR functionality, such as device type, operating system version, controller input, headset tracking state, and similar runtime information.
User-provided information: Information you choose to provide, such as support requests, feedback, or contact information.
Meta platform data: If enabled, the applications may use Meta platform features such as user ID, display name, entitlement checks, avatars, friends, multiplayer, voice, spatial anchors, or other Meta Quest platform services only as needed for application functionality.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless it is clearly required for a specific feature and disclosed to you.

2. How We Use Information

We use information only for the following purposes:

To operate, maintain, and improve the applications.
To provide XR, classroom, simulation, multiplayer, or interactive features.
To verify purchases, entitlements, or access rights.
To troubleshoot bugs, crashes, performance issues, and support requests.
To protect the security and integrity of the applications.
To comply with applicable legal, platform, and developer policy obligations.

3. Permissions and XR Data

The applications may request access to Quest device capabilities only when needed for app functionality. This may include motion tracking, controller input, microphone, spatial anchors, scene understanding, hand tracking, body tracking, eye tracking, face tracking, camera, or mixed reality features if those features are included in the applications.

Data from these capabilities is used to provide the relevant XR experience. Unless otherwise stated, this data is processed locally on the device and is not stored by Chaotic Curiosity LLC.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers: With vendors that help us operate analytics, crash reporting, hosting, support, or infrastructure services.
Platform providers: With Meta or other platform services when required for app features, entitlement checks, multiplayer, or platform compliance.
Legal requirements: When required to comply with law, enforce our rights, or protect users, the public, or our applications.

5. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business needs.

We will review and respond to deletion requests within a reasonable period of time. We may need to retain certain information when required by law, for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate operational reasons. We do not charge a fee for deletion requests.

8. Children’s Privacy

ClassroomXR, XR-Spaces, and Classroom are not directed to children under the age required by applicable law or Meta Quest platform policies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Users

If you use the applications outside your country of residence, your information may be processed in countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the applications after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy.
